Tie that knot!!!

Judy and I just got back from Cambridge this afternoon, after about a 35 minute drive. The weather here has quickly turned to being spectacular, so it was a great day yesterday for a wedding.

Mark and Shelly had wonderful day for the wedding... suny and warm all day! We did not take a lot of pictures at the wedding, simply enjoying what was going on around us! Shelly is the youngest Daughter of our life long friends, Deb and Gerard. We have known Shelly since she was a little wee baby! What a great gal she has turned out to be! She is very athletic, and has been a member of a few Canada National Ringuette Teams.

Very proud Mom and Dad take Shelly into the Church!

This picture above is when they are leaving the Church after the ceremony, and are just about running out! Bit of a blurr... however you get the idea!

The reception and Dinner were at the the prestigious Galt Country Club! What a spot... when you drive in here you kind of wish you had your golf clubs with you! This facility did a terrific job the whole evening for us with a terrrific Staff and excellent food and refreshments to boot. Nobody went away hungry or thirsty!

I enjoyed my choice of their roast beef dinner, and at about 10:00 they brought out these terrific sliders... pulled pork and beef, just in case you were still a little hungry... well, I thought I was, so had a couple sliders just to keep the hunger pains away...

This was our table above... all of us kind of hang out during the summer up at Deb and Gerard's cottage at Sauble Beach. We had a great night watching each other grow as we seemed to be always eating!

Judy and I decided to make it a little mini holiday, as we took a taxi from the Country Club up to the Four Points Shearton in Cambridge. This is a nice new Hotel, which was very reasonalbe price wise. This morning Judy and I walked the 5 klms. back to the Country Club to claim our Jeep back in the brilliant sunshine!

Taking life easy here this evening, way too much excitement for us the past couple of days, but we had a blast.

We have nothing but best wishes for Mark and Shelly as they start off their married life together! Enjoy your honeymoon in Thailand!

Till tomorrow...

Looked to be a great wedding. Walking back 5km's to your car should have worked off those sliders!
