This morning we were hard at it again! It was time to go on Safari… We headed out to Briarwood Ranch, about an hour east of Johnson City, Tn. off of Highway 81.
Jenn and Paige found some goats…
they had these chickens with real long necks!
Table manners were far and few between around here…
I think he looks a little like Rudolph…
Emmie got right into it, I think she came away with 10 fingers… ???? …
You simply did not horse around with this guy…
One word describes this guy… Zorse
Hmmm…
Why did the chicken cross the road…
Watsup???
Ya, our son is a Dr. and he is sticking his hand out there…
They dragged you around the 110 acres on one of these…
‘Come on guys… the north pole is this way”
Things started getting a little crazy…
We had animals everywhere…
The driver got into keeping them all happy…
“Hey, you forgot me!”
The kid’s just loved it!
Oh give me a home…
He just stuck out his tongue, and you dropped the food on it… yuck…
The owner’s bought this land over 20 years ago. They have been doing the tours now for only 5 years. A few years back, after the animals ate all the undergrowth, they discovered a cemetery! The graves dated back to the late 1700’s! Apparently over 200 soldiers from the Civil war are buried here. They told us the big tree in the centre of the pic is over 400 years old.
Had to take pictures at Swan lake!
Big night tonight as we are all going to watch the hockey double header! Toronto and Vancouver, and Calgary and San Jose.
Going to have to go on vacation soon for a rest!
Till tomorrow…
go Canucks go!!..sorry couldn't resist!!
