It is coming back....

Today, our good weather made a step a coming back... not perfect yet, but got up to about 65 deg. F. even if we did not see a lot of the sun. Tom and I got out and walked 5 miles this morning and found it warm enough.

We kind of took life very easy around here today... lots of time in the pool and hot tub area in the later part of the morning after walking. I was getting relaxed, as this afternoon I had to go shopping!

Yes, that is an iTunes Gift Card you see beside my iPhone 5 and our Monster Blue Tooth Speaker. Shawn and Jenn and the kids sent me the iTunes Card for Christmas, so off to the iTune Store I went this afternoon. I never saw another person in the Store as I surfed around for 2 hours! The kind of shopping I like to do! Never had to leave my easy chair!

I bought some good old Classic Rolling Stone Music,

some great Classic Gordon Lightfoot, to keep my Canadian content up!

To keep my iPad and iPhone full of color, I bought some Pink music...

Judy likes Dido, so I bought her music to keep peace in the Family, as she shares all the music now on her new iPad Mini...

Now, Enrique iglesais keeps things very lively while listening...

K. D. Lang does a terrific job on her 2010 version of Hallelujah!

Katy Perry, and Taylor Swift, keep things very youthfull...(you can't listen to the 70's all the time I am told...)

Needed more classic music so we went to Led Zeppelin and Boston!

For some newer music, I picked the Plain White T's...(well, Judy really picked them, but they are good)

Even wanted some music from a deceased artist, good old Michael Jackson!

And finished off with "Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke...

So, that is a bit of a preview of the new music you will find on my iPhone now... one thing about iTunes, there is no shortage of product to buy and about a million different Artists.

Till tomorrow...

  1. That was a nice way to spend a few hours, John.

Can't say I agree with all of your choices (i.e. Robin Thicke) but I do like the majority of them.

  2. My 'likes' on your list would be Stones, Gordy, k.d. Lang, Zep, Boston, & Jackson......Oh & Taylor Swift because she is such a 'Looker'.

  4. Some of that music could speed up your walk as you exercise with ear buds on. A lot of do choices...and yes, there is no shortage of music choices.
