A little tour of Milton…

Beautiful day here… lots of sun but just a little bit cool.

We spent the morning doing exercising and walking.  I had a pedometer that I won at some golf tournament a couple hundred years ago and decided to try it out today.  Worked great!   I walked for about 45 minutes and it counted up 3,500 steps!

Dr. Oz will tell you to walk 10,000 steps a day, so I will have to leave it on all day and try to hit 10,000 steps…

Took some pictures of the park on my walk this morning, this area has lots of leafless trees… not good if you are into satellite dishes…

Big rec hall with a full kitchen… in the foreground is the pool building and pool… yup, it is all closed up!

You have to have a front Office, they love taking your money!

This is the good old 401 at around 10:00 this morning… it was a little heavy heading east into Toronto.

This area is part of the Niagara Escarpment.  In the distance you see a smaller mountain.  We headed over to check it out, and it is a ski area.  There are quite a few Conservation Authorities in this area, and a lot of recreational land.

We took the Burgman out for a spin this morning as it was so nice, and toured into Milton.  Quite a nice little Town with lots of shopping.

Not much else on the go today… just putting in time until we head up the Dr. next week.

Till tomorrow…

  1. Wished I had a dollar for every mile I have driven that stretch of 401 you took the picture of. And, that ski hill is where I skied for the very last time. I remember a beautiful sunny spring day just cruising my way down those slopes back in 1994.
