We have made it to the Sunshine City of Orillia… Judy was born and raised here in Orillia, (very close) and I live here for a number of years… we actually met each other here… way, way back in 1972 I believe…
Could not post any pictures of our visit with the kids yesterday due to lack of internet… so here are a few…
It took Paige a few minutes to warm up…
Emmie just got up from her afternoon sleep…
Jenn whipped up some shishcabobs on the Q…
Jenn was showing us the nice mantel clock that Shawn was presented for completing his Medical Residency by the East Tennessee State University. Lots of blood, sweat and tears went into this one… Shawn was not here to show us, as he is still down in Tennessee completing his Residency on June 20th I think…
Shortly after dinner, Judy got to give the nightly “bath” to the girls…
As you can see, Judy had her hands full!
We had a great visit with the girls… lot of fun. Today we got away at 9:00 this morning heading for Orillia. We stopped at Madoc, Ontario for a lunch break at a great little road side park on the river…
We pulled into Hammock Harbour RV Park in Atherley, Ont. by 3:30 this afternoon and got all set up. We will be here for 5 days or so… This lady below pulled into the lot beside us this afternoon, and I got to meet Milo, her pet Duck! He was just a nibbling away on my finger… she hatched this Duck from the egg, 3 weeks ago! Gotta love it! She said it was “ Milo’s first camping trip”… Milo has a funny tuff of feathers on his head…
Just watching the Hockey Game, and it looks like a good one based on the first period!
Till tomorrow…
we can only hope and hope some more that it will be a good one!..I always loved bath time when our daughter was little!..the three B's..bath bottle and bed!..been a long time since I thought of that!
ReplyDeleteWhat cute little girls. Bath time was always fun at that age...but you're right, lots of work too.
ReplyDeleteNice looking picnic spot.
Pet DUCK?? Well it's a cute little thing.
Great pictures, as always! Good to see you safely back again. Orillia is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBath time looked like fun. Did the girl's get to use your rubber duckies, John?
ReplyDeleteGreat hockey game last night - parade plans are back on it seems!
