Medical Day…

What a lousy day it turned out to be here… hope it was better where you are.

This morning we took life a little easy.  Judy had to go into Soldier’s Memorial Hospital for a pre surgery visit.  She is having Nasal Surgery on Wednesday morning.

I took a walk around our Park this morning and snapped a couple pictures for you.

We have a great campsite, lots of room for RV and trailer…

This park is unique, as it has these great canals leading right into the park.  There are some sites where you can park your RV right beside the canal.

There are seven or eight of these canals leading in.  You can take your boat and just ride right out into Lake Couchiching or Lake Simcoe.

The Park is located right between the two Lakes, and it is known as the “Narrows” to the locals.  We are only 10 minutes from the City of Orillia, which is located on Lake Couchiching, and about 25 minutes from Barrie, which is on Lake Simcoe.

laketwoThis afternoon, we drove up to Gravenhurst, as both Judy and I had appointments with our Family Doctor.  All went well there, so we headed up to Bracebridge to pick up some mail at David’s and Angela’s.  Ended up with a nice invite for dinner.  David set the BBQ on fire and cooked up some great summer time burgers.

Till tomorrow…

  2. That looks like a great campground. Will say a prayer for Judy that her surgery goes well on Wednesday.

Our weather started out iffy but then turned to nice sunshine and moderate temps - nice day altogether.
