A pretty full day today was…

We started off going to visit all the kids at about 10:00 this morning… we were on a mission and that was to go to one of the local malls and take in the free “My Little Pony Show”!  Why not!  Emmie is trying to stake out a good spot below…

Quote a crowd had gathered to take in the show…

Finally the star of the show shows up!

It was a pretty good show and the kids all enjoyed it!

We were back home in the afternoon in time to rake up a few leaves, and have some fun in them…

Nothing better than a day with the kids… had to have one last swing for the year… maybe more yet!

Of course tomorrow being the big day, we had to carve up the pumpkins… We had a few extra thanks to Peter and Marion from the farm.

Everybody got their hand into it…

Emmie is hanging onto the one I did… her Dad, the Dr. is showing everyone his skill in surgery… I just closed my eyes and hoped he still had 10 fingers when he was finished… he did!

Just a great busy day in Ottawa for sure, with the big day for the kids on tap for tomorrow…

Till tomorrow…

  1. You have some priceless photos there, especially the one in the leaves where Emmie(?) is looking at the camera. Great Jack-o-Lantern. Sounds like a great day.

  4. What a wonderful day with Grand’s, and with those great pictures will surely make this Halloween one to remember. We were rooting for your Leafs yesterday to win Ottawa, and were hoping they would make that last goal for overtime in those last minutes. It was an exciting third period anyway. Thanks for the nice welcome on your site yesterday; Lolita and I always enjoy your Blog. Have a great Monday!
