Rain day...

Well, back to the blog after a day off to help speed along my recovery... still have some effects but starting to feel better today.

This morning it rained quite a bit, the lawns and crops in this are are just loving it... never seen corn grow as tall as it has this year... it is crazy!

While eating dinner tonight, Judy and I were buzzed in the RV by some guy in his helicopter... I went out to look and see what was going on, and turns out he was crop dusting the field beside our RV Park. Will have to watch I don't grow a 3rd eye!

Who knows what he was spraying... just think of how good you could see though with 3 eyes!

Tonight we went into Woodstock to catch a baseball game. Chris plays in a Church Men's League. It turned out to be a great night for baseball...(slowpitch)

Shaking hands before the game helps keep it friendly!

Alll of the fans brought their chairs to enjoy the games.... no hot dogs though....

Of course Gwenny was around to cheer Dad on...

Game on...

...and a great action shot made by the photographer with the LG Smart Phone! (Oh, wait...that was me!) Yes, they use a luminious green baseball.

Charlie was cheering all the way for the home team... but the count went against them tonight... next time!

We had to calm Charlie down a bit after Dad's team lost... but I am told he will be OK with it!

Till tomorrow...

  1. Yeah, you gotta wonder about those insect sprays. Makes me a bit uneasy I must say.

  3. The morning rain but then we had a wonderful sunny afternoon.
Those helicopters work must better for crop dusting than airplanes, get it done much quicker.
Always nice to watch the local games too, glad you are feeling better.

  5. Finally able to catch up on blog reading by finding a small central Alberta town with WiFi. Seven days without internet access was a good break but it's good to get back to blogland.

I hope you get over the cold quickly.
