Hope everyone enjoys the Easter long Weekend! The weather here is California is excellent, and I am being told Ontario weather is fantastic! Gotta love it... Enjoy everyone and keep some of that good stuff for when Judy and I return in a month!
This morning we decided to head out and do some resort shopping! We have only been in the Palm Springs area for a few days now, but we soon came to know that we wanted to return and spend more time here. So, today we decided to shop for a resort for next winter. We cannot stay in the resort we are in now, due to the fact we have no cell service at our site, and that is a deal breaker for us.... we cannot remain here long term without people being able to call us direct.
We checked out two different resorts, and decided on one of them. It is the sister resort to the one we are currently in and is called Caliente Springs RV Resort, which is located in Desert Hot
Springs. It is a great resort and the only difference between it and the other one we looked at, is the fact it has mineral hot springs and the other one didn't. We will plan to stay at this resort, probably for Dec. Jan. and Feb of next year's winter season. Judy took a couple pictures....
Oh ya, forgot to tell you it has it's own golf course! I think I will probably take out a golf membership for the season!
There is a huge pool, and at least 4 mineral hot springs....
This is just a sampling of how bare RV lots can look after everyone has headed home for the season.... there is a lot of park model units in this resort as well... ya, the mountains are real close as you can see in the background...
We look forward to next winter already! This area of California is great and the weather here in the winter time is about the same as Yuma... sunny and hot! We toured around this afternoon on the motorcycles for a bit, and then made it back to head out for dinner tonight. There is a restaurant on our resort, so we headed out to it.... our waitress took a picture....
