The Answer My Friend, is Blowing in the Wind....

When we awoke this morning we knew right away our plans were in a bit of jeopardy.... We had planned to saddle up on the bikes, and take a drive over to San Diego and check out the Pacific Coast Highway.... didn't happen...

The wind was blowing this morning big time.... it was howling... funny things was, normally the RV would be rocking but it wasn't.... turns out we are so protected where we are in this park that the wind did not bother us in the RV. However the trees were rocking, and the dust was a blowing...

We decided to venture out for a short ride to see how bad it was out there. We are only 5 minutes away from a new Casino so we drove over to see what was there. The Casino is new, and has a mini market attached to it... very nice, but again, was not built for "winners"... We checked it out and left without even making a donation... yeah!

We had to drive a piece on Historic Hwy. 80 and man was it windy, it was pushing our bikes around in the lane, so we made the quick decision to call it a day on the motorcycles and put them away.... it was too bad, as it was a nice warm day, with lots of sun and no clouds.... just way too much wind.

We did a bunch of work around the RV, getting ready to head out this Wednesday. Hopefully tomorrow the winds will all have moved up to somewhere in Canada and we will be able to get to San Diego!
