Watch out for those “Burgman” Parties…

A great day today in Muskoka, lots of sun and nice and warm.  Judy and I slept in this morning and did some computer stuff when we got up, and then we were off on the bikes to take them to our local car wash to get them cleaned up.  I got my dirty driving home from New York yesterday and it required a major cleanup to get rid of all the road grime etc.  1/2 an hour later and all was well again.  Judy did her bike as well.  Took a ride up to visit David and Angela in Bracebridge, however they were not home.

This afternoon, out of the blue, Frank and Patsy show up at our KOA driving their fleet of Burgmans.  Patsy just got her licence and is just learning to drive.  She is doing very well.  We all decided to form a convoy and head out to Port Carling for ice cream.  It was a great evening to go and we had a blast.  We drove back through Bala on the way home, and every where we went there seemed to be lots of tourist around spending all their money.

Here is a shot of the three of them on the Burgmans…

One thing for sure, today’s ride  was the quiet!  These bikes make no noise at all!  My 750 Honda is loud beside these things…

This morning I noticed that our cat Patra, had a play friend at the window with her.  Here is way I found….

She had cornered herself a grasshopper, but he was on the other side of the screen window… that did not seem to matter to her and she and a ball with the little guy anyways.  Eventually he hopped away!  That was the end of Patra’s excitement for the day.

After our ride today Frank and Patsy had us back to their home on Gull Lake and we BBQed some burgers and talked motorcycles!

Welcome to Rick and Paulette who recently join as followers of the blog.  They have a blog called Rick and Paulette’s RV Travels that I have been reading now for a bit!

Till tomorrow…
