What do you mean… I need a day off???

Another nice day in New York, nice and warm, no rain.  When I woke up this morning, my back was stiff and my body was telling me to listen!   I did listen, and decided to take the day off from riding the bike, and instead I made it a spa type day, going to the Hot tub, Sauna, and Pool.  They have a very nice set up here for all that stuff.

After the spa I decided to walk downtown and around, which took about 1 1/2 hour to do.  Nice day for a walk, and my back responded very good to the spa and the walk.  Did bring the point and shoot, so let’s look at some pics…These pics are a bit out of order but oh well… the first is a nice older hotel where you can stay for $75.00 a night…

This Cemetery is right beside the sidewalk, and I saw one grave that was marked 1855 for the date of death… Lots of them were from the late 1880’s…

After I walked back to the motel, I decided to go for a little ride on the motorcycle to check out the campground where all our bunch is staying.  The trailer below is Frank and Patsy’s…

Murray and Linda own the bus…. Linda is the driver.  They are still in the process of converting it to an RV. About 1/2 way done now.  They bought it on Ebay!

We had the welcome to the rally dinner tonight, before we ate, we honoured all the American and Canadian Vets!  They are the ones standing, and there were a lot of them!

We were at the Yodeler ski hill, and this was the view out of our dinner window… yes, the hill is real steep!

They had a contest for bike of the year award, and everyone got to vote. This one had lots of fancy lights on it!

That just about puts an end to another great day in Ellicottville.  Weather is supposed to be great tomorrow!

Till tomorrow…

  1. If you want to see a steep hill go drive around to the Wall. It's hard to recognize some of these things in the summer.
