Nice day for a BBQ

Another beautiful day here in Muskoka.  We took life real easy today, catching up on the reading of our books… I am on my second book now in the last couple months, something I never seemed to have time to do when I was working!   Go figure!

This afternoon we had my two Brothers, Richard and Gord, along with their wives, Susan and Wendy, and my Mom and good family friend, Pearl up to the KOA for a BBQ…  Mindy and Sam joined us along with Presley who is quite the kid!  Told you so…

Barbie and Wade could not make it however Richard brought up the kids with him…

Braydon is sitting down, Beckey is next to him and little Presley is in front.  They brought a friend along, Ashley, ( I believe…) to enjoy the weather…

Nice day for a BBQ…

Brother Gord is laughing, as he brought his be IPHONE with him, and I gave him the code to get onto our internet modem through our router… you can see our “Anywhere Internet” dish right behind him. 

Right after dinner, the kids all wanted to go for a swim…

The girls had a blast in the pool…

Everyone had a good time, and we had great weather!   We even had time for a couple quick skype conferences with Emmie and Paige from Tennessee. 

Supposed to rain tomorrow…

Just another lazy Friday!

Perfect day for sleeping in and catching up on some zzzzzss….

Spent most of the morning, (what was left of it…) surfing on the old internet!   Just doing a bunch of RV type stuff, and trying to figure out if there is any good financial software out there for use with the RV…

Had a campfire tonight with Shirley and Rod across the road from us…

We have been using RVer’s Notebook, which is a program I purchased off the internet last year, and is not a bad program, but is sure not very user friendly when it comes to the financial part of matters…

Here is Remee… He is my buddy for life now, as I brought him over a big doggy type bone after supper tonight and he just couldn’t put it down!  He is just over 1 year old.

I looked at another program today, called “RVer’s Companion”.  It seemed real good however the financial part of the program again was not what I was hoping for… They gave you a 30 day free download on a trial basis, and I am not sure if the whole program is working properly or not…

Shirley has this magic powder she puts on the fire and you get all these freaky colours….  I tried to get them on camera…

There sure is something nice about sitting around a fire on a nice evening… even though it was cool out tonight, it was great with all the stars out in the sky!

Yup, had the Wallmart rope lights going tonight…

Found a 3rd software program on the internet this morning, called Travel Pac.  It looked OK, but did not give enough detail on what it will actually do for you… so, in this day of electronic wizardry, I simply sent the Company an email asking what I can expect if I purchase their software!  Will have to wait and see if they actually reply….

Just another scorcher!

At least no one can say we are not having a real summer this year!  Today was red hot up here in Muskoka.  I spent most of the day doing some cleaning and maintenance around the RV, and actually had to stop and change my shirt!  The pool at the KOA is getting well used this year, that is for sure.

Judy and I drove down to Orillia tonight to surprise Gary and Shelly as it is Shelly’s birthday today.  Well, we kinda got surprised ourselves as they were not home…   We think they have left for Florida to visit Mickey again!  Should be warm down there… I heard news reports today indicating people are passing away from the heat in the Tennessee area!
