Turned out to be a nice day today, with lots of sun and great temperatures. This morning I took the Jeep over to Bracebridge to have Krown Rust Control do their thing. Took about an hour to complete the job, and then you have to put up with the vehicle dripping for the rest of the day all over the place. At least I don't have a nice paved driveway anymore.... :-))

This afternoon I worked for a couple of hours and completed the right hand side of the RV with "wax on..... wax off". Do you remember the Karate Kid Movie from years ago.... Apparently they have just released a new one... will have to go and see it I guess.

Tonight we traveled to Orillia to meet up with Mom and go to dinner at Theo's Restaurant. She had a couple of cousins drop by for the afternoon to go over family tree stuff. One of the cousins is visiting from Whales, and the other lives in Bellville, Ont. Had a nice time visiting and having dinner with them.

Black Hawks Win.... What do I watch now....

Just a great game last night, as Chicago won the Stanley Cup! Fast paced and lots of action, and then Patrick Kane scores the winner in OT now less.... what a finish. Every kid who ever played hockey dreams of scoring an overtime winner for the cup!

Problem now is... no more hockey until the 1st of October. Will have to get out and start walking and exercising I guess... The good news is that 3 years ago Chicago was the doormat of the NHL in last place, and in three years they hoist the cup! There is hope for my Leaf's yet! Next year, Judy and I plan on being in Desert Hot Springs for at least 3 months which is in sunny California, and not far from Los Angeles. (only about 1 1/2 hour ) Being that close hopefully I might be able to get to a Leaf game when they visit... they should also be in Phoenix as well... here is hoping!

Turned out to be not a bad day today, spent most of the day in Gravenhurst visiting some friends and doing a bit of shopping.

Got a big surprise today, and found the Provincial Gov't put $330.00 in our bank account at the good old RBC today! I guess that is their way of feeling bad about they way they are getting ready to inflict the HST on us.... they give on one hand, and take away with the other...

No pictures today, but Judy and I went on a walk after I picked her up from the Prison, and it was a nice night for a walk, however, not near as nice as the last Feb. 18th when we were in Tucson, Arizona, and visited a State Park for a hike... just can't remember the actual name of the Park! We visited so many places last winter in AZ and CA that my memory bank is overloaded! Sure was a fun day though.... just watch out for the cactus... they do bite!

The new Jeep goes into Krown Rust Control tomorrow to be undercoated and rust protected. You never know when it might snow next winter in California, and they start spreading salt on the roads!

Stanley Cup Fever!

Just a short blog tonight, as I sit and watch the Stanley Cup Playoff Game between Chicago and Philly... Chicago is winning and I hope they do!

Very wet cool day here today.... did some more cleaning of the Rig outside.
