Heavy overcast skies greated us today in Florida with a bit of a drop in our temperatures... might have got down to like 67 or 68 Deg. F.
So, there is no need to get all shaken up and depressed about this kind of weather, you have to look at it as an opportunity! If you want to wax on/wax off your RV around here, you are never going to do it while the sun shines! It simply gets too hot to be able to do this type of work.
So today, just after 9:00 a.m. I started into the wax job for this winter. By just after lunch today I completed exactly 1/2 of the RV! Perfect!
The good part of today, is that I got the sunny side of the RV done. The side that faces the south gets 95% of the sun, while the other side faces north, and get little direct sun. So now I will be able to complete the other side of the RV, even if the sun is shinning. Will get it done in the next day or so.
I decided to try a different paste wax this time, picking up a can of "Kit" This is an excellent wax, very easy to use, and wipes off very easy and leave a big time shine... what else is there??? $5.00 a can!
Shawn and Jenn and the kids, gave me a nice Toronto Maple Leaf Gnome recently as a gift, and I wanted to let them know that the nice Florida weather really agrees with him, so he lives outside on our driveway welcoming all our friends and guest, who are all Leaf Fans of course...
Just wanted to show Kristina what her Mom is tromping around Rainbow RV Resort in... kind of hard on the eyes! She uses them during Zumba!
Till tomorrow...
Great job getting the waxing project half done! I need to start on our winter wax. It seems that our summer/June wax was just yesterday.
ReplyDeleteWe too take advantage of the weather s well to get those jobs done. Gotta keep them looking good.
