Re-arrange day!

Just like a lot of things we do, after we bought a new sofa for our RV, we end up totally re-arranging the RV.  Perfect.

Check out to see how it all turned out…

We ended up deciding on moving our kitchen table to the other side of the RV, and removing our barrel chair.  Patra was scouting it all out and gave her seal of approval…

We actually end up with a bit more open space in the RV after it is all said and done… bonus.  We are also lighter in weight, as the new couch is a lot lighter than our old couch with sofa bed.

I have had inquiries from one of our readers in regard to our Hughes Net Satellite Dish System.  Just wanted to show a pictures showing the size of the unit.  We travel with it and our Shaw Direct Dish above on our bunk over the cab of the RV. Perfect spot.  Please note the whole satellite dish comes apart into 4 main pieces, along with the tripod.  The tripods get stored in the basement of the RV.  15 minutes from start to finish and being online is my record!  This system is good anywhere in North America.  We like it and it works great for us.  We both use laptops together, and use a wireless router to supply our signals from the modem.

Nice and hot again today in Ontario, and it sure looks like all next week is terrific!

Judy and I would like to wish all of our American friends and readers a very Happy 4th of July tomorrow.  Enjoy yourselves!

Till tomorrow…

Off to London…

This morning  we had to take a quick trip into London, in order find a “walk in” Clinic for Judy.  She has been suffering a very sore throat, and a bit of a fever, and it did not seem to be getting better, so off we went.  Only a 10 minute wait, and she saw a nice Lady Dr. who gave Her necessary prescriptions to help out!

On the way home, I came across this huge market on the east side of London, and we stopped in for a peek.  Turns out, we found the exact new leather couch that we have been looking for the past 6 months!   It was at a great price, and as we were wondering out loud how we were going to get it to the RV, the owner says, “ hey, no problem, we will lend you our truck to take it home in”… perfect! it worked.

Kristina came out to help me break it in… it is a sectional unit, with end recliners!  Love it!  Very comfy.

Tonight the owner of our Park is putting of fireworks that we are going to take in… Canada Day extended!

CANADA DAY 2011

Hope everyone had a great Canada Day – we sure did!

Took life easy this morning around the RV, and ended up going into Woodstock for a drive on the motorcycles and to visit the kids… weather was perfect… all day!

David and Diane Broad, (Chris’ parents) invited us out to the Sailing Club on Lake Pittock to enjoy the Canada Day Celebrations!  We had a blast.

The sailing club is a nice spot, with about 20 various size sailboats, and a bunch of kyacks.

David and Diane have a nice sailboat, but had to get it in the water first!

Finally in the water of Lake Pittock below… this is a man made lake, on the Thames River.

Chris was checking out all the boats on the dock…

David made a few runs with the boat, taking everyone for a ride… it was a nice day for sailing, with a moderate wind.

There was 10 of us in our Canada Day Party, with lots of shade, and a great view of the lake.

Kristina and baby were starting to run out of gas after 6 great hours on the lake… we enjoyed a great pig roast the members put on!  No lack of great food!

Overall a great day.  Our Son, Shawn, along with Jenn and the kids, were in Ottawa with 300,000 other people trying to get a glimpse of Kate and William… don’t know the results yet!

Till tomorrow…
