A Cold Blustery Snow Filled Day…

Well, not really… it did rain last night for most of the night, and when I woke up this morning and looked out our living room window, this is what I saw:

This is the most snow we have seen in the mountains in our time here… apparently it snowed right down to the 3,000 foot level… everything was white today!

You can see the snow line here on Mount Jacinto!

Not much on the go today, Judy and I made the Church Service at our Resort and it was packed as usual down here… over 200 people showed up!

We went out this afternoon and did some shopping at Wal-Mart and Trader Joe’s… they have some great deals on food there!

I have been in touch with Rick from Rick & Paulette's RV Travels and we are planning a bit of a hike on Tuesday to a neat canyon he found.  Click on the link and you will see some pictures he took while he was there this weekend.  He did not get to finish the hike as he ran out of daylight, so he wants to go back and needs a companion!

Till tomorrow…

An Easy Day in Paradise…

Simply took life easy today in the desert…

Last night we really had quite a bit of rain falling, for most of the night!

OK, so by now you have figured out that I did not take one picture today so have had to give some business to the cyber photographer…

Received an email from Gladys and Andy who arrived back in Red Deer, Alberta… here is a picture of what it was like there last night…

Yup, it was – 30 in Red Deer last night…

Went down to the gym and hot tub this afternoon, and I am now sitting back watching the Leaf’s play the Senators…

Kiss and Fly!

We were up and at it early this morning as we had to pick up Andy and Gladys and head to LAX…

I couldn’t believe this guy strapped the LAX Airport sign on the top of his SUV and was heading to Palm Springs… the nerve!  (well, really slick camera work by Judy…)

LAX is huge… over 10 Terminals… West Jet flies out of Terminal 2, and they made it real easy for people driving in and dropping people off for their flight… or, the good old “kiss and fly”…

See you later Guys!  Had a blast!

We gave up the idea of riding our bikes down by the Ocean, due to rain!   We decided to head for home as the forecast had rain in the afternoon.  We stopped by a local mall to buy some birthday presents for Paige, as it is Her 1st birthday coming up very soon… can’t tell you what we got Her, as she reads the blog!

We didn’t count on it being Presidents Day Weekend, and everyone in L.A. trying to escape the City by Interstate 10!  It was a little busy, but we made it back in time to enjoy our Friday Night!

Till tomorrow…
