We had a fantastic day, with the Hollinger Gang all getting together today at the Highwayman Inn, in Orillia.
We started off by enjoying a great breakfast buffet in the restaurant.
Right after breakfast, it was time to wear it all off with a great swim.. they have a nice facility here...
After swimming, we were off for the park, to wear off some of the steam the kids had... Emmie below is showing off the slide...
Gwenny had a ball, and really enjoys the park area...
Below Emmie, Gwenny, and Paige all had a blast on this tire swing thing... it was a great mild day for the park.
We wanted to check out the Champlain Monument in the Park, however it is guarded by 2 big cannons, so Dr. Shawn, Jenn, Emmie and Paige decided to tame the cannon!
Below Judy and I are with our 3 Grands, in front of the Champlain Monument... Champlain founded Oriilia and area, way back in 1615 if you can believe it! He met a bunch of local Indians and traded with them.
Next we were off to the Hotel again, and ended up enjoying the afternoon and evening. We had a big party room, and Judy brought craft stuff for all the kids to enjoy...
And we took the time to get everyone in focus for a nice big group shot... thankfully they put 12 second timers on cameras these days!

Other than those "coats" this looks like a great time. Even the kids looked good in the picture and that can be a miracle.
