ETSU Trot for Tots–5K.

Had to get up real early this morning, as Shawn wanted to go and run the annual Trot for Tots, that was being run out of the East Tennessee State University, which happens to be attached to the Hospital Shawn works in in Johnson City.

Shawn is just finishing his residency in Paediatrics, and wanted to show support for the kids that this centre offers!

Shawn and Jenn are ready to go, along with Emmie and Paige who got to go along for the ride!

And here they come around onto the finish line… no, Judy and I did not run, this happened early this morning, and it was already hot, hot , hot, so we did the smart thing, and cheered them all on.

The girls seemed to fair pretty well over all!  The family finished first in the baby carriage event!

This afternoon, it simply got too hot to do anything… high humidity as well so it made it feel worse…

We did get the dish up so we are sitting right now and watching the Leaf’s play the Canadians tonight…

A big welcome to Alan and Connie our latest blog followers to RVlifeonwheels!

Till tomorrow…

  1. Sounds like fun - even the humidity! It was 4C here during the day in Congress, Arizona. Warmer in northern BC! Glad you have your access to the Leafs back, however, you know the Canucks have it wrapped up....

  3. Looked like a lot of fun for a great cause. Good plan not to run in all that heat!
