Out walking early for my regular 5 mile walk with Tom at 8:00 this morning. It was overcast for most of the day today, but it was very warm.
After walking was finished, I decided with the overcast skies, it was a good time to do some selective waxing on the motorhome. The right side of our unit is facing kind of south, and it gets the brunt of the sun here. Our bedroom slide really takes a beating from the sun, so I worked for 2 hours this morning waxing that side of the motor home. Sure is amazing what the sun can do in a short time.
We were out with Tom and Cheryl this afternoon keeping the Florida economy going at Lowes. We picked up and installed a new mirror in our motor home.
We stopped in at the Lake Wales Library, which is connected with all the Libraries in Polk County, and with our identification, and proof of our Residency in Polk County, (our Hydro Bill) we were able to secure a Library Card! This is an excellent resource centre, full of books, magazines, videos, CD's, you name it. Today I found out they have a great system of actually mailing you the book that you have placed on order. I wanted to read Chris Hatfield's newly released book on his experience in the ISS, and it will be mailed to me in Frostproof once it is available at the Winter Haven Library. I can return it to any Polk County Library. Yes, you can download eBooks from about a thousand U.S. Libraries!

Congrats on getting a US Library Card. I haven't tried that yet but with my Time Warner Cable bill I just might qualify.

That sounds like a great deal with the Library card, good for you on figuring out how to get one.
ReplyDeleteShining up the rig is an endless task....but it sure keeps them in nice condition. It's another form of exercise.
