Wet Friday!

Good thing we had all our vents and windows shut, doors locked, children put away, pets nailed down, as we got heavy into the rain last night and this morning! Whew... everything got washed!

We just sat and took life easy this morning, drinking coffee, playing with iPads and computers, and watching Olympics of course!

We finally got a bit of a break around mid afternoon, and we headed out to Standard Tube Park, and put in our walking exercise for the day... it was actually pleasant out, and warm!

I want to thank all the readers that left me comments, thinking about me...feeling sorry for me...comforting I missed out yesterday on a chocolate butter tart! All your concerns made me feel warm and fuzzy last night! So this afternoon, after our walk, it was straight into Kristina's house to lay claim to a butter tart!

The proof is in the pudding as they say, and this butter tart was home made, and delicious! Well worth the trip in to get it! Thanks Kristina!

Played with Gwenny a bit, headed back out to get ready for tomorrow. We are moving firewood tomorrow, and I have to prepare the motorcycle trailer, as that is what we use along with the Jeep to haul a bunch of firewood.

Till tomorrow...

  1. Not a bad way to spend a rainy morning. Glad you got your delicious looking butter tart. Sounds like a busy day tomorrow moving that wood.

  2. glad you took possession of that tasty butter tart!

  3. The rainy day is nice for a change as we enjoyed it too. Then to get that tart really topped off your day I am sure.

  4. I'm glad I got to your blog before you took the last bite of that great looking butter tart!
