Anniversary Wishes…

100_1307

Judy and I, as most of you are aware, recently celebrated our 38th Anniversary… we got married two years after my older Brother, Richard, and his Wife, Susan!  This weekend they celebrated 40 years together!  Congratulations to you both!  We had a Family and Friends Anniversary Party on Saturday Evening, up in Orillia.  Judy and I made the trip up, and too advantage of the time to do some visiting!  Below Richard and Susan cut an Anniversary Cake at the Party.  The was quite a gathering, and we all enjoyed music and good food during the evening…

It sure is funny how life goes sometimes, when Judy and I were very young, like in 35 years ago, we lived in Orillia.  Our friends at the time included Mike and Jenny Fountain, who we last had any contact with 35 years ago!  We ended up meeting them at the party of course!  It was great to get caught up with them, like for 35 years worth of catching up!

We got to spend some time with my Mom on the weekend, and actually stayed at her Apt. last night.  Today we took her to services at St. James in Orillia, and enjoyed lunch out afterwards.  This afternoon, we headed back to Woodstock!

Oh ya, tons of rain this weekend!  Wow… everything is growing!

Till tomorrow…

  7. Nice weekend of activities. How interesting that you met up with long lost friends. While we are in the Okanagan Valley, we also plan to meet with friends and past work colleagues we have not seen in many years.
