The finishing touch!

Yes, we finally finished up the painting of the Dining Room!  Glad to have it finished… four days of fun!  This room had not be painted for quite a while, and had very dark colours in it, so we ended up needing 3 coats of primer on the walls to get the coverage we needed!  Whew… quite a bit of repair work, as well as wall paper removal!  What else!  Good thing Kristina and I worked together, as we were able to finish it up this week.  Judy earned the badge of honour taking care of Gwenny!

Chris and Kristina decided on blue and white… I now call this the “Blue Room”…

It sure turned out to be nice and bright, and of course smells like a new car!

All 3 of us were worn out after this week, phew… nice to have it finished!

Hope everyone enjoys the weekend!

  2. Blue, our favorite color. I love your new look. We transformed the look of dark wood paneling in the living/dining rooms of our 1964 double wide mobile home in to a beautiful, restful place just by painting the walls a very light blue with white trim.
