Our high humidity finally gave way a bit today... it was still warm, but not quite as humid which makes it a bit more bearable!
This morning Judy was off into Woodstock to help Kristina register 112 kids at the Vacation Bible Camp, which is put on by her Church. Wow... that is a lot of kids to take care of for the week
This afternoon, Chris wanted to finish off some work on the benches on the back deck, that had been sitting not finished due to hot weather!
It did not take us much over an hour to assemble this bench... he had some pre-work finished ahead of time. This bench gives you seating room, as well as a guard against falling off the deck.
The bench above was finished a couple weeks ago, and was just waiting for the other one to finish it off...
Judy did a good job amusing Gwenny in the sandbox, while Kristina cooked us up a great dinner!
Finished product!
Till tomorrow...

ReplyDeleteGreat looking deck benches, nice job.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the weather has dialed back a bit too.
Good idea with the benches that also serve as deck railing. I'm sure the break in the weather is welcome relief.
